THE POWER OF MUSIC
Summer comes in early in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. It comes in March! The heat says howdy while it is still Spring. An old racehorse track was converted into a concert venue. It is less than 2 miles from home. The Coronavirus has silenced it. A few years back DEF LEOPARD played there. You could hear the music. Ah, countryside living! Another year Willie Nelson took the stage. Sounded great! The big Spring Jam featured multiple bands. No more. The owners of the venue are playing it safe. Good for them! WE can listen to music on records, computers, phones and CDs. The power of music will power US in hard times. WE must focus on defeating the Coronavirus Pandemic!
